2 bank security guards shot dead
Bhubaneswar: Two security guards deployed at the Orissa State Cooperative Bank’s branch in steel city Rourkela, about 350 km from here, died of bullet injuries, reports said. According to the police, the security guards — Parameswar Behera and Purna Chandra Dehuri — were found lying in a pool of blood inside the bank around 7 am and were immediately rushed to the Ispat Geneal Hopital, where they succumbed to their injuries. The officials of the bank said Parameswar was on the night duty while Purna was supposed to do the morning shift at the bank.
