Woman ‘ raped’ by hotel owner

Kolkata: A young woman working as a help at a hotel at Lee Road in Bhowanipore alleged that she was raped by its owner on Sunday evening. At around 7.50 pm the cops found her lying abandoned in an unconscious state without any dress at D. L. Khan Road in Alipore. The 30- year- old woman was admitted at Sambhu Nath Pandit Hospital. At night, the police tried to record her statement but failed as she could not respond. On Monday morning, she lodged a complaint of rape with the police against Sandip Das, who owns a hotel at Lee Road.
