Headmaster held for molestation

Howrah: A headmaster of a primary school in Howrah district was arrested Monday for allegedly molesting three girl students of his institution, the police said. Prashanta Adak, the 40- year- old headmaster of Nahala West Board Primary School in Bagnan area, took three girls of Classes 3 and 4 to an empty room during tiffin hours and was allegedly molesting them. The villagers, who had suspected that Adak was abusing the students, were alert and noticed this, the police said. They captured the headmaster, assaulted him, locked him in the room and tried to set the room on fire.
