- GARIMA NAGPAL

With the android market flooded with thousands of apps, the famous online polling website eChunav.com recently launched its new app by the same name in the capital. This first- ofits- kind app was launched in a bid to provide a platform to young people who can share their beliefs and opinions with a simple touch on their mobile devices. Apart from providing a platform to voice an opinion this app also allows consumers to vote on topics like politics, entertainment, education, health and various online surveys. eChunav. com is the brainchild of Bharat Kanodia of Veristrat Inc. which is headquartered at San Francisco, USA.

Talking about the new app product manager Malini Das shares, “As we are new in the market, we have around 500 to 2,000 app users as of now. But we are planning to increase the traffic through inviting celebrities and youth icons like Kiran Bedi and Anupam Kher to endorse the app. We are hoping to get confirmations from these stars.”

The company believes that in today’s era a large number of people are smartphone users, thus initially they are targeting the android market. For now the eChunav app is available for free at android play store but it will soon be available for iOS and Windows users as well. “The app already has sections on politics, economy etc. But we are planning to add sections on entertainment, games and sports especially for the youth,” adds Malini.
