RESPECT THE LAW

FORMER DELHI chief minister Sheila Dikshit was fined ` 3 lakh for not appearing in court in connection with a defamation case she had filed against former Delhi BJP chief Vijender Gupta. A fine of ` 5,000 had earlier been imposed on her for no- show. When she didn’t turn up despite that, such disrespect of the law called for stern action. Hopefully Ms Dikshit will think twice before filing cases she’s not interested in seeing through.
