NO RELIEF IN SIGHT

IT HAS been a year since the communal riots in Muzaffarnagar that affected thousands of people and left many homeless. Thousands of victims are still stuck in relief camps. These people cannot return home for fear of violence. What is surprising is that they were made promises of accommodation by the leaders of the Samajwadi Party and the Bahujan Samaj Party during the Lok Sabha campaign. But nothing has happened. It is high time that promises are fulfilled and the plight of these innocent people is alleviated.
