Musharraf case hearing adjourned

A special court, hearing treason case against former Pakistan military ruler Pervez Musharraf on Tuesday delayed the hearing without any court proceedings in the wake of the ongoing political impasse in Islamabad, reports our correspondent. “The special court has delayed the hearing of Pervez Musharraf’s treason case until September 9,” said a court official. “The prosecution lawyer and the counsel of Pervez Musharraf have been given an official notification regarding the case adjournment,” he added. The special court of Islamabad is trying Mr Musharraf under Article 6 of the Constitution.
