Jimi Jamison, lead singer of rock bands Cobra and Survivor, has passed away following a heart attack. He was 63. The artiste died on Sunday, August 31, his booking manager confirmed, reported TMZ. Jamison performed as the frontman of American band Cobra in early 1980s and after its dissolutio­n in 1984, he stepped in as Survivor’s lead singer. He replaced rock band’s then frontman David Bickler, who was forced to leave the group after developing polyps on his vocal chords shortly after Survivor recorded their biggest hit, the Grammy- winning Rocky cut Eye Of The Tiger.
