Auto- lifter is arrested from West Delhi

A man was on Tuesday arrested from Udyog Nagar Metro station in West Delhi for his alleged involvement in five cases of auto- lifting and burglary.

The accused identified as Aakash alias Chote Singh, a resident of Mangolpuri, is also wanted in a case of Arms Act under the Mianwali Nagar police station.

“We received a tip- off that a wanted auto- lifter was coming from Mangolpuri side. Acting on this information, the police laid a trap,” said a police officer.

Aakash also revealed that he had stolen a bike recently.
