Being selfish

-

The charm of a new relationship often hinges on the fact that people are more giving and more adjusting when they’re still getting to know each other. After all, one decides to pursue a relationship with somebody who at least appears to be not so high maintenance and certainly one who doesn’t nag all that much. We all love someone who puts our needs ahead of their own and does not seem to be calling all the shots. But that is not the case all the time. Some people don’t know any better than being the focus in everything that they do, even in a relationship. That can be a mighty annoying trait if one person constantly feels slighted or unheard. You may think everything’s hunky dory but unless you decipher your partner’s silence, you’re not going to realise that you’re being quite a jerk.
