Trust factor
Nobody likes to have that wretched discussion about how trust is something that one wins slowly. People presume just because a person has agreed to dating and more, that the trust is implied and little needs to be done to maintain it. When the novelty of the relationship hadn’t waned, one would’ve barely noticed that there is a trust deficit. New relationships bring with them excitement of the unknown, thrill of new experiences and a chance to not make the same mistakes of the past. But each of these factors come with their own baggage that one notices only after the new relationship enters that dreaded zone called “same ol’”. The excitement of the unknown quickly turns into the anxiety over the unknown. “Is there something she isn’t telling me?” The thrill of new experiences can make one wonder if his/ her partner has done this before with someone else. And the clean slate is clean for you but may raise doubts in your partner’s mind.
