Well, when similar tastes meet at one point, then a melting- pot of ideas naturally pour in. Same happened when the

Wake Up Sid- Aisha- Ishaqzaade scorer sat at an interactive musical session with his fellow friends from the Times Music. “One fine day, we were casually jamming when a Diwali theme just cropped up out of the blue. It is a combined effort with the initiative being taken by the reputed music- label. We officially launched the song on October 18 afternoon. It’s an on- line release and can be heard on SoundCloud,” informs the National Award- winning composer.

Titled ‘ Bas Bajna Chaiye’, the catchy track mingles melody with a foot- tapping tempo. Keeping the ongoing festive fervour in mind, the number aptly celebrates life and music. An all- age group bracket can savour its fun- feel and enjoy the mood of the song, swaying to its racy beats. While singers Benny Dayal and Anusha Mani have lent their voice to the composition, writers Aman Sinha and Ozil Dalal have penned the lyrics.

Completely dedicated to the spirit of music, the song urges its listeners to sing in various genres, languages and belt out superhit covers of several international pop icons. Though the number is interspersed with ethnic elements, yet there is a modern vibe to it, maintains the ace tunesmith.
