SRK and Sallu’s hug and kiss on the eve of Arpita’s wedding was not just a photo op

The patch up between the two biggest Khans of Hindi cinema was not just an occasion for a historic photograph. It was the real deal where Shah Rukh and Salman Khan didn’t only kiss Salman’s kid- sister Arpita on the eve of her wedding but they also hugged and kissed one another.
“This was not just a camera-created camaraderie, like what had happened at Baba Siddiqui’s Iftaar party. This was a real patch up, and this time Shah Rukh and Salman have decided to let bygones be bygones. The reconciliation is for real this time,” says a friend of one of the Khans.
The two even danced a jig together. The friend adds, “Yes, sadly no one clicked the happiest and most magical moment on Sunday evening when Salman and Shah Rukh threw aside their mutual hostilities and broke into a dance at Arpita’s request.”
According to the friend there were some tears as we well. “It was a very emotional reunion. No one clicked Shah Rukh and Salman’s hug and kiss. But the fact is, what happened at Galaxy Apartments ( Salman’s residence) was a wholehearted unconditional reunion between the two biggest superstars.”
According to the friend, Arpita and Salman also enthusiastically invited Shah Rukh for Arpita’s sangeet ceremony in Hyderabad on Tuesday. “Shah Rukh expressed his inability to be there. But he has promised to be at the wedding by 4 pm on Wednesday and he will be there through the entire ceremony.”
Aamir Khan has also confirmed his presence at the wedding.
SRK and Salman put aside their differences to take part in Arpita’s celebrations

Shouting slogans of “go back to Mumbai… we want justice,” a group of people agitating against superstar Salman Khan in connection with a case registered in Hyderabad last year, tried to march from Mughalpura to Falaknuma on Monday. Salman’s sister Arpita marriage ceremony is scheduled at the Falaknuma Palace, Hyderabad over the next few days.
A social worker on Thursday had urged the police to arrest Salman, who is facing two criminal cases in the jurisdiction of the Banjara Hills and Falaknuma police stations. When Salman’s father Salim Khan was contacted over the issue, he said, “I am just boarding the flight to Hyderabad for my daughter’s wedding reception... All I can is say that I am the happiest father today. I am not aware of any agitation at all. We are all in a celebratory mood.” The issue that the group was agitating over is about a complaint that had been registered against Salman for “insulting” Muslims during a Being Human fashion show. A video showed a model walking the ramp at the show with “Allah” written in Arabic prominently at the bottom of her gown. It is unclear when and where the event took place or what the intention of the organisers or the designer was, but as the clip did the rounds of social media, there had been a big backlash from the Muslim community.
