St. Marks, DPS cruise to victories

Half- centuries from Aryan Sehrawat and Aryaman Sen helped DPS, RK Puram, beat Ganga Internatio­nal School by seven wickets in the 25th Radha Kishan Sanjay inter- school cricket tournament in New Delhi on Thursday.

Chasing 154, DPS reached the target in 19.3 overs, Sehrawat leading the way with an unbeaten 66, ably supported by Sen’s 51.

Batting first, Amit Dalal ( 53) helped Ganga Internatio­nal raise 153/ 6 in 20 overs.

In another game, St. Marks School, Meera Bagh, overcame Cambridge Foundation School, Rajouri Garden, by 55 runs.

Batting first, St. Marks rode on knocks from Chirag Chopra ( 55) and Ayush Dutt ( 44) to post 170/ 6 in 20 overs.

In reply, Cambridge Foundation were restricted to 115/ 8 in 20 overs.

Dushyant Kanwar contribute­d an unbeaten 43 even as Parth Madaan, Kshitij Atrishi, and Ayush Dutt picked up two wickets each.
