Salman Khan won’t be having any golden jubilee celebrations on December 27, the day he turns 50. Considering, the actor finally got acquitted of all charges in the hit- and- run case, one would have expected to see the Khan family indulging in some extra festivities on Salman’s birthday.

According to those close to actor he has strictly forbidden all “shor- sharaaba” that would be intended to make his birthday extra- special. Says a close friend of the actor, “We’ll all be heading to Salman’s farm house in Panvel ( outskirts of Mumbai) for Salman’s birthday on December 27 and then we’ll stay on for New Years. There will be no extra celebration.”

We hear the family does not wish to attract extra attention as there have been a lot of a adverse reactions over the court’s verdict swinging in Salman’s favour. “The family has been advised to keep a low profile for a while,” says a source in the know. Amitabh Bachchan, who is currently shooting for his upcoming film posted few pictures on his blog and wrote: “That is like Leonardo de Caprio of at the helm of the boat, secure that nothing shall strike the hull or the bow of this one with the devastating ice berg .. why ..? because the Hoogly does not possess qualities to produce ice bergs ! That was like the most sickly humour of the decade !! Pardon .. !!" ( sic). He continued, “Catnaps as the boat takes a bit of time to reach base berth by the river banks of the Hoogly river in Kolkata .. the Hoogly, but is indeed the river Ganga entering its final phase before it flows into the great Bay of Bengal … But riding and walking the ‘ bridge’ of the city the Howrah Bridge, now renamed, has been nothing short of adventurous ..”
