They enjoyed a lavish wedding ceremony just one day before in Venice's City Hall and tennis ace Ana Ivanovic and footballer Bastian Schweinsteiger tied the knot once again on Wednesday as they took part in a beautiful religious ceremony.

Having made their vows legally binding on Tuesday, it was clearly important to the couple to also have a religious ceremony as they cemented their love and they chose Misericordia Church in Venice at the setting for their romantic occasion.

Serbian stunner Ana, 28, looked incredible on her day wearing a beautiful strapless bridal gown which clung to her figure in all the right places. She wore a veil which cascaded down to the floor of the venue as she swept in looking every part the dream bridal princess.

Carrying a simple bouquet of white roses, all eyes were on the stunning sports star as she made her way from the imposing church to a waiting water taxi to be whisked off to her lavish post- ceremony celebrations, all while escorted by her proud father Miroslav.

Handsome footballer Bastian looked dapper for the happy occasion, wearing a black tuxedo with a matching bow tie. And while his outfit drew attention, it was his infectious smile that made him shine almost as brightly as his bride on the big day.
