Taylor’s got bad blood with Harris
The Taylor Swift- Calvin Harris breakup just took a messier turn, with Calvin lashing out against Taylor’s claims of having written his new song, This Is What You Came For. After a rep for Taylor told People that she had written the song under the pseudonym Nils Sjoberg, Calvin tweeted, “Amazing lyric writer and she smashed it as usual. I wrote the music, produced the song, arranged it and cut the vocals, though. Hurtful to me at this point that her and her team would go so far out of their way to try and make me look bad at this stage though. I know you’re off tour and you need someone new to try and bury like Katy ( Perry), but I’m not that guy, sorry. I won’t allow it.” According to the rep, Taylor was hurt when Calvin said in an interview at the time that he wouldn’t work with her in the studio, after they had agreed to use the pseudonym. Calvin responded to that too, saying, “And initially she wanted it kept secret, hence the pseudonym. I figure if you're happy in your new relationship you should focus on that instead of trying to tear your ex bf down for something to do.” Meanwhile, Katy Perry — who has had beef with Taylor for a few years — took the opportunity to throw in a couple of punches, first tweeting a GIF meme of Hilary Clinton shrugging and then retweeting an older tweet of hers that read “Time, the ultimate truth teller”.
