BSP leader convoy attacked in UP

Lucknow: The convoy of BSP leader Naseemuddi­n Siddiqui was stoned in Agra on Friday by activists of the Kshatriya Mahasabha who were protesting against the offensive slogans against the minor daughter of expelled BJP leader Dayashanka­r Singh. Three cars in the BSP leader’s convoy suffered damage and their windscreen­s were smashed. Mr Siddiqui was also shown black flags by the protesters. Eight persons have been arrested by the Agra police in connection with the incident. Mr Siddiqui was in Agra to attend a party programme when he faced the ire of the Kshatriya Mahasabha.
