In the Bunker Hill district of Los Angeles, one of the most prominent sights is Angels Flight — a historic narrow gauge funicular railway. According to Amusing Planet, it is dubbed the “shortest railway in the world”. It was opened in 1901, and at that time, it was one of the most fashionabl­e neighbourh­oods in the city! The journey on this railway line is only 315 feet and lasts less than a minute!
