IT’S A STARRY COSTUME PARTY IN DUBAI THEME PARK

A Bollywood themed park is all set to be launched in Dubai this October. Bollywood Parks Dubai had been in the making since 2012 and will consist of rides, attraction­s, and live shows based on themes from the industry.

Some of the biggest names in the industry, right from Shah Rukh Khan to Salman Khan, from Aamir Khan and Hrithik Roshan, actually flew to Dubai to assist the park with setting up the theme for it. A special montage shot for the theme park comes as a delight for Bollywood fans, where Aamir has donned his Lagaan outfit, and SRK has a new look, directed by Reema Kagti. It also shows Hrithik sporting his Krrish look and Salman enacting his Dabanng character, alongside Arbaaz Khan. All these shots are to be used to create various attraction­s, some of which include SRK’s Don and Ra. One, Dabangg, Lagaan, Krrish series

and Farhan Akhtar’s Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. Thomas Jellum, the general manager of the park explained that they put together an awardwinni­ng team of producers, designers and creative writers to create the park. Raed Khajool Al Nuaimi, the CEO of Dubai Parks and Resorts explained that the Bollywood themed park would be an attraction for Bollywood fans in and around Dubai. “This will be the first Bollywood park in the world and this was designed and built for the billions of fans of Bollywood that live in close proximity to Dubai,” he said.
