12 Afghan troops killed by colleagues

Kunduz ( Afghanistan), Sept. 27: Two Afghan soldiers with suspected Taliban links killed at least 12 of their comrades as they slept in the volatile northern province of Kunduz, officials said on Tuesday.

The incident occurred on the outskirts of Kunduz city, which was briefly captured by the Taliban last year.

“The two soldiers fled after killing 12 sleeping colleagues in the Zakhil Khoman area of Kunduz,” senior police commander Aziz Kamawal said.
