PESB to appoint Nada as NMDC MD

Hyderabad: The Public Enterprises Selection Board has recommended Narendra Kumar Nada’s name for the post of chairman and MD for NMDC. As per a PESB notification, it has selected Mr Nanda, currently NMDC director, for the top post after interviewing four others, including Gopal Singh, CMD of Central Coalfields. “PESB will send its recommendation to the department of public enterprises, which in turn will send it to the ministry of steel for consideration. The steel ministry after the necessary clearances will send it for approval,” a source said.
