Shia cleric blames Azam for crisis

Lucknow: The crisis in the Samajwadi Party has allowed almost everyone to settle their personal scores and it is now well known Shia cleric Maulana Kalbe Jawwad who has blamed senior UP minister Azam Khan for the prevailing situation in the ruling party.

Maulana Kalbe Jawwad’s battle with Mr Khan over Shia Waqf properties in the state has acquired legendary proportions and the cleric told reporters in Allahabad that Mr Azam Khan has “misguided” the chief minister and pushed him in to a conflict with his father Mulayam Singh Yadav.
