Sushma seeks Navy help to save couple

New Delhi: External affairs minister Sushma Swaraj has sought the help of defence minister Manohar Parrikar and the Indian Navy to evacuate Indians reportedly on board an Indian merchant vessel near Aden in strife-torn Yemen. Ms Swaraj appealed on Twitter after receiving an SOS from an Indian civilian in the vessel and his wife who claimed they were stuck along with 23 other Indians. She also asked the Indian envoy in Islamabad for a report after reports that an Indian was stuck in a Pakistani jail for more than three decades.
