ELDERLY, JUVENILE ACCUSED OF RAPING 15-YEAR-OLD GIRL

Two persons, including a juvenile, have been accused by a 15-year-old girl of raping her over a period of two-and-a-half years in Central Delhi’s IP Estate area on Wednesday.

The victim told the police that the two accused raped her on different occasions after they found her alone at home over a period of two-and-ahalf years, said a senior police officer. After the victim’s family got to know of her ordeal, they approached police on Tuesday, he said.

A case under relevant sections has been registered, he added.

The 60-year-old man was arrested following the FIR and the juvenile has also been apprehended and sent to a juvenile home, said the officer.

The victim’s parents are engaged in small-time jobs and she stays alone at home many a times while they are out.
