After intel bosses, Don blames Obama for leaks

Washington, Feb 28: President Donald Trump believes his predecessor Barack Obama is behind the protests against Republican lawmakers, and national security leaks.

In an interview with Fox News on Monday, the United States President said, “I think President Obama’s behind it because his people are certainly behind it. I also think it’s just politics” without providing any evidence, according to the BBC.

When asked if he believes Obama was responsible for the town hall protests against Republicans this month, Mr Trump said, “I think he is behind it.” On the leaks, he said, “You I think President Obama’s behind it because his people are certainly behind it. I also think it’s just politics — Donald Trump, US President never know what’s exactly happening behind the scenes. You know, you’re probably right or possibly right, but you never know. His [Obama] people are certainly behind it. And some of the leaks possibly come from that group which are really serious because they are very bad in terms of national security.”

A broad coalition of groups, including Organising For Action, have been working to help with the grassroots organising around GOP town halls.

Organising for Action, the group formed from Obama’s campaign organisation, has 14 professional organisers who are involved in teaching local activists skills to effectively vocalise opposition to the GOP’s top agenda items.

Earlier this month, the US President had told Fox that reports of his calls with the leaders of Mexico and Australia were caused by leaks from “Obama people”.
