After UP victory, Shah eyes Odisha
Bhubaneswar: With its convincing victory in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand Assembly elections, the BJP has now set it eyes on Odisha. Party chief Amit Shah will visit the state on April 10 to strengthen party’s base at the grassroots, the BJP state unit informed on Wednesday. Mr Shah’s visit to the state assumes significance as it comes just after the party’s spectacular success in the recent rural polls in the state. The rural polls marked the saffron brigade coming second, next to the ruling BJD, leaving way behind the Congress that was the main opposition force in the state politics since 2000.
