SC nod to nixing of 150 MBBS seats

-

New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Wednesday upheld the Kerala high court order canceling the admission to 150 MBBS seats in Kannur Medical college and 30 seats in Karuna Medical College. Declining to interfere with the October 2016 HC order, a bench of Justices Arun Mishra and Amitav Roy observed that that allowing such admissions would set a bad example to erring medical colleges. Dismissing the appeals from these colleges, the Bench said the admission documents submitted by them were not proper. Kerala government supported the high court order and said it should be restored.
