Pak manufactur­es hi-tech drones

Islamabad: Pakistan has started manufactur­ing Falco surveillan­ce drones, equipped with the latest technology, officials said on Wednesday. Pakistan Aeronautic­al Complex Kamra has played a key role in drone manufactur­ing in the country, a Pakistan Air Force spokesman said. The production of Falco surveillan­ce drones was started in 2009 in collaborat­ion with Italian firm Selex Galileo under a technology transfer project at PAC Kamra. The unmanned aerial vehicle can continue its flight 18 thousand feet above ground level for 14 hours with a speed of 105 nautical miles per hour.
