Pak manufactures hi-tech drones
Islamabad: Pakistan has started manufacturing Falco surveillance drones, equipped with the latest technology, officials said on Wednesday. Pakistan Aeronautical Complex Kamra has played a key role in drone manufacturing in the country, a Pakistan Air Force spokesman said. The production of Falco surveillance drones was started in 2009 in collaboration with Italian firm Selex Galileo under a technology transfer project at PAC Kamra. The unmanned aerial vehicle can continue its flight 18 thousand feet above ground level for 14 hours with a speed of 105 nautical miles per hour.
