Western UP netas meet Adityanath

Lucknow: Union minister Sanjeev Baliyan, BJP MP Raghav Lakhanpal and other party leaders from western UP met chief minister Yogi Adityanath here on Wednesday. The meeting assumes significance in view of the recent communal clashes in Saharanpur in which BJP MP Raghav Lakhanpal is an accused. Pressure has been mounting on the state government to arrest the accused MP and DGP Sulkhan Singh has stated that the guilty would not be spared. The UP IPS Association has also condemned the attack on Saharanpur SSP’s house and has opposed any action against him. It is learnt that the leaders explained the circumstances.
