9 FAMILY MEMBERS VOTED, GOT ONLY 4: NCP CANDIDATE

-

New Delhi: NCP candidate Keshav has alleged EVM fraud during the polls and urged the State Election Commission to initiate a probe on how he got only four votes when his family of nine eligible voters had voted for him. Mr Keshav, who contested from ward number 35N of Mundka constituency, made a PCR call after he got to know about the number of votes he secured at Rani Kheda counting station. He claimed that his family of nine members had voted for him, but the finally tally showed that he had got only four votes whatsoever. He alleged that his votes have been transferred to other candidates. He first reported the matter to a senior police official, but the official told him that the issue was out of police jurisdiction. He then went to the office of returning officer, who had left the office. He then made a PCR call and reported the matter.
