MENTALITY SHIFT NOTED ON F&B BIZ: SINGH

The food and beverages industry is witnessing a mentality shift which isn’t conducive for the industry, Olive Bar and Kitchen managing director AD Singh said to this newspaper.

Mr Singh, who was in the city to open the company’s first microbrewe­ry, said, ‘Recently, there has been a noticeable shift in the mentality in regards to the food and beverages industry in whole, which isn’t conducive for business.”

When asked what can be done, he said: “Most profession­als are active almost through out the day but there is a lack of option for casual dining late in the night. Some zones in the cities should be allowed to cater to them.”
