Julia visits dressing room at Santiago Bernabeu

Most people are left starstruck when they meet Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, but even they were left in awe after meeting Hollywood royalty after the Clasico.

Messi and Ronaldo both met actress Julia Roberts following the clash in Madrid, won 3-2 by Barcelona after Messi scored late with his 500th goal for the club.

Having already duked it out on the pitch, the rival clubs were competing off it too, with each putting out Instagram posts featuring Roberts with their stars.

Barcelona showed off Messi with Roberts in a photo captioned: ‘And the Oscar (always) goes to Leo Messi.’

Real Madrid meanwhile posted a video of Roberts meeting not only Ronaldo, but a host of other stars, including Marcelo, Sergio Ramos, and manager Zinedine Zidane.

They captioned the post: ‘Check out Julia Roberts’ Bernabeu experience’, and the Academy Award winner certainly seemed to have a good time.

She told the Real Madrid page: “I’m so excited, my whole family is here and we are just thrilled to be here” — although she made no comment on which one of Ronaldo or Messi was her favourite.

Roberts was even allowed into the Real Madrid dressing room afterwards — the sort of treatment reserved only for an A-lister.
