No one can cheer 13-year-old Anthony like his li’l sister Belle does. They are seven siblings but these two share a unique bond. Anabel aka Belle and Anthony are like chalk and cheese — the sister being described as a ‘carefree, effervescent, bouncing ball of sunshine’ by their mom while the elder one is combating depression. So, as it happened one day, the mom was browsing through the web to get herself a Disney gown. All of a sudden, the boy demanded a prince costume for him and a princess’ for his sister. Wearing that they had a photoshoot, and it really, really is awesome.

SHOT IN THE EAR

Even as you debate which trinket to wear on your ear from which jewellery store, someone may just walk past bearing an oh-so-cool tattoo on their ear. Tattooing has been there but Helix tattoos are the rage now. The thin, modest, threadlike ink shots are mostly spotted on the outer part of the ear. Helix can be customised according to choice, with umpteen designs available from a floral design, to paw prints to minimalist lines. After all, you need not worry about losing a precious earring the next time you go out.

You are a genius if you name it. Polish artist, Zdzislaw Beksinski’s paintings are complicated. Naturally so since they are pictorial representations of the random and wildest seen in our dreams. The artist is known for dystopian surrealism in paintings with elaborate sprinkling of post-apocalyptic imagery and nightmarish creatures. The artist who left the world with an oeuvre of 300 creations himself has said that: “I wish to paint in such a manner as if I were photographing dreams.”
