You can start by getting rid of all old newspapers and magazines; remove dead plants; repair or throw any electronics or broken vessels in the kitchen; vacuum rugs, let in sunshine, air the rooms; light incense. (sandal/lavender/frankincense recommended); use essential oils in a diffuser; a diya or a candle lit on a daily basis is very purifying; burn camphor (circle your home with camphor); open the windows to let the stale air out; play sacred music; adding plants to your home is like a daily vacuum of dead energy when plants die they are taking on the negative energy. (Do replace them regularly).

In feng shui the kitchen stove is considered to be vital-financial prosperity; keep it clean and feel gratitude every time you use it; light a white tea light in the kitchen. It’s very cleansing.
