4 juveniles detained for killing their friend

In a swift action, the Delhi police team solved the murder case of a 17year-old boy, who was found dead in the police station limits of Kanjhawal and has apprehende­d four juveniles in this connecton.

The seventeen-year-old student, Jatin, a resident of Kanjhawala, was murdered on Friday night at about 11.55 pm following which a complainan­t came to the Kanjhawala police station. After receipt of this informatio­n, the police team reached a locked house in Ladpur, where the body of a 17year-old boy was found sitting on a wooden chair. The deceased was tied with the help of wires. The deceased was later identified as Jatin. The body had a large sharp injury/cut on right side of neck, besides other injuries.

During investigat­ion, it was revealed that the offence has been committed by some juveniles who were friends with the deceased.

Police teams were deployed and as a result of strenuous efforts, the four were apprehende­d. Interrogat­ion has revealed that they alongwith deceased Jatin used to consume ganja together. They further disclosed that the deceased used to harass the sister of one of the juveniles and was warned several times earlier. On Friday, the four juveniles planned to teach a lesson to Jatin and killed him.
