Wipro flags cyber security

-

New Delhi: Wipro has listed cyber security breaches as a potential risk to its business, stating that such attacks could lead to financial obligations to its customers. The development comes weeks after WannaCry hit systems across sectors like telecommunications and healthcare in over 100 countries. One of the most widespread cyber attacks in history, WannaCry infected computers, locking access to files on the computer. Wipro, in its filing to the US Securities and Exchange Commission, noted that while there is an increase in the number of connected devices and transition to cloud, the impact of threats is also on the rise.
