A WELCOME MOVE

PM Narendra Modi’s US visit marks an important milestone with the US declaring Salahuddin, head of Kashmiri militant group Hizbul Mujahideen, a global terrorist. This will help in choking his movements and financing. Apart from blocking the money flow to terrorist outfits, the countries that are backing militants must also be declared as “terrorist nations”. The UN should take appropriate action on these countries. The US declaration on Salahuddin emphasises its commitment to end terror in all forms. K.V. Seetharamaiah
