2.5 lakh jobs are expected to be created from cruise tourism 1.5m domestic passengers are expected to use cruise by 2031-32.

700 cruise vessels are expected to be operated in India as against 70 now as a result of the Centre’s cruise policy. The Centre is building cruise terminals at Mumbai, Goa, New Mangalore, Chennai and Cochin.
