BMW's M division makes some of the most notable performance vehicles. The new X3 is the latest one to get the M badge for topof-the-line M40i variant. There's a 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six motor in the front that belts out 355hp and 500nm of torque. With the 'rear biased' xDrive all wheel drive system, this blue-blooded grocery hauler will do a 0100Km/h time of 4.8 seconds and can pull off slides as well, which sets it on par with certain sportscars. The new design is also functional, with the shutters behind the front grille to improve aerodynamics and vents on the front flanks reduce turbulence in the wheel arches, pointing to the 0.29 drag coefficient.
