25-yr-old man killed in Audi hit-&-run at ITO

The national capital continues to reel under the spate of horrific accidents involving high-end cars. In yet another incident, a 25-year-old man died after being hit by a speeding Audi at the ITO on Saturday night. The entire incident was recorded by a passerby. The accident took place just a few metres ahead of the police headquarters.

The eyewitnesses present at the spot told the police that it was a white coloured Audi car. Before the onlookers could rush towards Manoj, the car had sped away.

According to the eyewitness, Manoj was stuck on the iron railing for a long time. The police sources said that a PCR call was received at around 11.30 pm, following which a local police team rushed to the spot and took the victim to the LNJP Hospital where he was declared brought dead.

A police official, who is privy to the probe said that the police are yet to trace the vehicle. A case under Section 279 and 304 A of the Indian Penal Code is registered.
