MADRASA TEACHER SODOMISES MINOR

A 25-year-old teacher attached to a madrasa in Geeta Colony was arrested by Delhi police on Saturday on the charges of sodomising a 10-year-old boy.

The accused is a habitual offender. He was earlier arrested on the charges of sexually assaulting a 10 year-old girl.

The accused is a habitual offender. Fearing of getting caught, Savvad ran away. He has been remanded to judicial custody.

the madrasa situated in Geeta Colony around a month ago.

The incident took place on Friday night when Savvad allegedly sneaked inside the room where the 10-year-old minor boy was sleeping and allegedly sodomised him.

However, the accused ran out of luck, when the minor boy raised an alarm. Fearing of getting caught by the police, Savvad ran away.

The father of the child approached the police and formally lodged a complaint following which the madarsa teacher was arrested from Faridabad and produced before the court.

The teacher was remanded to judicial custody. The police has said that Savvad was living on a rented accommodat­ion in New Delhi and is a paedophile.

He was earlier arrested on similar charges and had sought bail.
