Floyd gushes over murals

Floyd Mayweather’s victory over Conor McGregor saw the undefeated boxer end his career with a 50-0 record and added a considerable sum of money to his already bulging bank account.

So it should come as no surprise that the Money Man would want to do everything he can to make sure the Las Vegas bout lives long in his memory.

It is perhaps a little surprising, however, that he would choose to do that by commissioning an eight-foot-tall portrait of McGregor to be hung on the wall of his new Beverly Hills home.

But that’s exactly what he’s done, with Mayweather showing off the artwork on Instagram with the caption ‘exclusive timeless artwork in my Beverly Hills home’, having commissioned it prior to the fight.

The stunning piece is the work of Tiffanie Anderson, also known as ‘The Pretty Artist’, a former pop star who put together the 12-foot wide canvas using broken glass.

The portrait of McGregor is paired with a matching one of Mayweather, with the two split either side of a doorway, showing the Irishman standing in front of the tricolour ahead of the contest and the American flexing his muscles in a pose similar to the one pulled on the scales.

The 40-yearold bought the £18.9m mansion in the Beverly Hills area of Los Angeles after the bout in August.
