Case filed against Prakash Raj in UP

A case has been filed against National Award winner and actor Prakash Raj on the complaint lodged by a Lucknowbased lawyer for his recent remarks against Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

A Lucknow court ordered the registration of FIR on a complaint submitted before it by a lawyer Sardar Parvinder Singh. The case has been listed for October 7.

Actor Prakash Raj has stirred up a controversy on Monday when he questioned the “absolute silence” of the Prime Minister on the murder of journalist Gauri Lankesh.

“Who killed my dear friend Gauri is not as important to me today as who has been celebrating her death. There may not be proof as to who killed Gauri but we can see who is celebrating it and from this we can form an idea of who could have killed her.
