Woman commits suicide in Rohoni

A 32-year-old woman committed suicide in Sultanpuri area of Rohini on Thursday. She blamed her husband for death in a suicide note.

The police said the victim, identified as Sapna, was found hanging in her house. Her husband Rambachan has been arrested on the basis of the suicide note recovered from the dead body.

The couple got married in 2011 and had one kid. The woman in her suicide note said that soon after her marriage, her husband started drinking excessively which led to frequent fights between them. The woman also alleged that her husband used to doubt her character.

On Thursday night, a fight broke out between them when Rambachan came home in an inebriated state. Following the argument, the woman went inside the bedroom and hung herself from the ceiling fan.
