It all began when on Saturday when Brijesh had a scuffle with his friend Bhola over smoking. Unable to take the insult, Bhola decided to avenge Brijesh and called him over drinks. Bhola had hatched the conspiracy along with his two friends, Vijay and Arjun. On Saturday, as decided, Brijesh came to visit Bhola from where the four friends went to consume liquor. Brijesh initially refused to take alcohol, however, after Bhola coaxed him to consume, the trio made Brijesh drink it. Cashing on the opportunity, Bhola, the prime accused, took out the pistol and shot Brijesh in his head. As a result, Brijesh died on the spot. Probe further reveals that the trio then travelled with Brijesh’s body and dumped it in Bawana river and returned home. Meanwhile, the family of Brijesh grew tensed and when enquired with Bhola, the accused refused that Brijesh was with him. The family, after a long wait, approached the Ashok Vihar police and lodged a plaint. Meanwhile, the body of Brijesh allegedly got stuck in the fishing net following which a local informed the police. “A case has been registered in this regard and probe is underway,” said the police.
