MINOR STUDENT SHOT OUTSIDE HOUSE BY GOONS

New Delhi: A minor student, who was studying outside his house on Sunday, was allegedly shot by two men on a bike at Tilak Enclave in Mohan Garden. The police said that the assailants, in order create terror in the area, shot at the student. According to police, the injured boy has been identified as 12-year-old Kuldeep, a resident of Mohan Garden. The suspect has been allegedly identified as Wajid and is said to be very notorious. Wajid, to create terror in the area, entered Mohan Garden on a bike along with his associates who were brandishin­g knife and a pistol. The locals told the police that Wajid first picked up a quarrel with some locals in the area and soon began hurling abuses. He then sat down on his bike and shot a fire. Unfortunat­ely, the bullet hit Kuldeep. Seeing the minor collapse on the ground, Wajid fled from the spot. Immediatel­y, the police was informed. A team rushed to the spot and moved Kuldeep to a hospital where he was given medical aid. He is said to be out of danger. Based on the statement given by the locals, police has registered a case against the suspect and is on the lookout. In another incident, the mutilated body of a septuagena­rian, who was missing for a week, was found on Monday on the railway tracks in Dadri, said the police. The deceased has been identified as Puri Ram, 72, who used to live with his son at Army Welfare Housing Organisati­on (AWHO) housing society in Noida.
