Aditi to celebrate b’da on Padmavati sets

The movie is being directed by Dibakar Banerjee, and is being produced by Yash Raj films. Arjun says, “The movie is about ideologica­l difference­s between two sections of the country — Bharat and India. It is a story of two people, who represent two completely different groups of Indians.”

Prod him further and he says, “Bharat versus India is a dilemma our country is facing these days. These are two types of thought processes that have emerged in the last eight-odd years. The film deals with the psychology of the people who are influenced by changes in the society. It’s about how they’re going Much awaited and already mired in controvers­y, Padmavati has already created the right buzz with its trailer. But even as the actors of the movie seem to be gearing up for promotions, we hear that the team is still left to shoot a few portions for the movie.

“Sanjay Leela Bhansali is one director who will not okay a single scene unless he’s totally convinced about it,” a source close to the film reveals. “The film is almost ready and it’s only a few portions that are left to shoot. It will take about five or six days more.”

The makers are also trying their best to measure each step with promotions, to avoid any sort of controvers­y.

Meanwhile, actress Aditi Rao Hydari, who turns a year older today, will spend her day shooting for Padmavati. A source says, “Usually Aditi spends her birthday with her family. But this time, she couldn’t, because she was shooting for Padmavati. She also finds it auspicious to work on her birthday, and will be shooting for the movie the entire day.”

Aditi confirms, “Padmavati is very special to me in every way, and I’m thrilled to be a part of it. I feel blessed to be working with Sanjay sir, and the entire team of Padmavati on my birthday.”
