Lady advocate accuses senior of rape

He refused to marry her after she gave birth to his child

A lady advocate attached with the Rohini Court has allegedly accused a senior advocate and his son for allegedly raping her. She also charged that after giving birth to the child, the senior advocate refused to marry her.

According to the complainant, she was living in a live-in relationship with the senior advocate’s son.

In her statement to the police, she said that for last the past one year, she was staying at the senior

The lady advocate told the police for the past one year, she was staying at the senior advocate’s house where the father and son had physical relations with her

advocate’s house along with his son.

The father-and-son-duo soon established physical intimacy with the lady advocate.

She further charged that the senior advocate had coaxed her to move-in into his house so that it would becomes easy for him to convince his son to marry her.

The lady advocate soon started staying with the senior advocate’s son where the father-and sonduo allegedly established physical intimacy with her following which she got pregnant.

When on Oct. 3, she delivered a child and asked the senior advocate to get her married to his son, he allegedly refused.

When the lady advocate’s repeated attempts did not yeild any results, the complainant approached the K.N. Katju Marg police station.

She registered a complaint against both the senior advocate and his son for exploiting her modesty.

Based on the lady advocate’s statement, the police has registered a case and is investigating in this connection.

So far, no one has been arrested in this connection and the probe is underway, said the police.
