4- yr- old sexually abused by friend

In a bizarre incident, a four- year- old girl was allegedly sexually assaulted by her classmate, a four- year- old boy, in a Dwarka school premises during school hours. In an FIR lodged with Dwarka South police, the incident took place last Friday.

According to the FIR, the child, who studies in a school in Dwarka Sector – 7, had returned home on Friday and was sobbing. When asked by her mother, the girl child complained of pain in her lower abdomen and her private parts. The mother first thought that her child was irritated due to fatigue. However, she was alarmed when the girl again complained on Saturday. When prodded, the girl narrated the horror to her mother as to what happened in her school on Friday.

The FIR says that the girl allegedly told her mother that one boy of her class had unzipped her pants and touched her undergarment. She also told her mother that she tried to push the boy away, but here was no aayah or any help nearby. The boy, meanwhile, left after some time. “She tried to hook her pant buttons which took her long. The girl is small and usually her mother does it for her,” reads the FIR.

She narrated the same incident to her father later over phone and began to sob inconsolably. The frantic mother immediately left a message to the teacher and the school co- ordinator but to the mother’s dismay, none of the school authority’s member replied and allegedly began dilly- dallying the situation. On Monday, the child was taken to a hospital where doctors confirmed sexual assault.
